From TCs link: The Hot Hipster (B510++).

Bugger me (Dont take that literally) thats about $30 AUD for a Pizza in a third world country where they pay their staff 2 tenths of fook all ($1.50/hr). As opposed to staff on $18.30 AUD per hour (minimum wage) in Oz. Based on that, a Pizza should cost $100 in Oz, rather than around $20 to $30, or $7 to $20 take away. It would need to be the best Pizza this side of Alpha Centauri.

They do look a tad pretentious those but what to expect from Topcat?

I think Peppina was the best I had in Bangkok.

Funnily enough I was looking for Chicago Town deep dish Pizzas yesterday in Pattaya and couldn't find one but I did find a place in Bangkok called Papas but it seems Thai owned and doesn't look the best.

    Here's a nice list Tom.
    https://bk.asia-city.com/restaurants...oks-best-pizza

How the first place gets described, which is in your list, is uncanny...

    Il Bolognese Trattoria e Pizzeria

Who:- A downright comforting trattoria with convivial spirit and zero pretension

...nothing uncanny at all if you've eaten there (like we have, many times)...just an unpretentious Italian menu, good service and well-prepared dishes (including the wonderful pizza)...of course, Dragonfly knows a cheaper place in the 4th arondissement...

If you read the comments at the bottom, there's a few more recommendations by what are probably the owners of other pizza parlours. One is considered a consacrated(sp) restaurant

    Hardly surprising.

All those magazines and websites are barely disguised advertising.
