I must say in the years I've been comming to Laos I can say it's changed. I can find some imported cheeses and even found bacon though not what I'm used to.
My copper buddie had us over for dinner and a few brews. They grilled a fresh duck on the coals. Not bad at all. However I've seen what the local cattle eat and it's just not good. Well it ain't Kobe beef that's for sure. As far as milk goes I've yet to see a dairy farm. I did buy what I thought was milk, took a swig and gave it to sil. I'll stick with the OJ and pomegranate drinks. They seem to be legit.
