Jeez, ya don't say tez- thanks for the heads up. FYI, I have been to several of these conveyor belt places, in several different ports of call (shopping malls) in Thailand. Not impressed- factory mush that really shouldn't impress a chav- the saving grace I suppose is that they are relatively cheap.

Actually, we have an excellent Jap buffet right here in lil' old Ubon. It is called Oshin, owned by Chef Boontam of 'Iron Chef' fame. It costs a bit more, but you really won't resent the difference- you should swing by, when next in town. No conveyor belts btw- everything freshly prepared by trained Japanese chefs, of Thai nationality. Tastes like food.

High end imported luxury food including Alaskin king crab. Only top of the heap food.
