No.
But let me guess - you do?
Buy them beans off the jungle people, get your misses to smash them little roasted blighters up in the bok bok, and that's the best coffee you'll get here. Reasonably priced that is.
Little people, scurrying around up in ancient jungles up near Burma.
Some people calls 'em hill tribe people.
I call them the jungle people.
Or ewoks sometimes

Mountain
Organic
Farm
At 800-1,500 feet above sea level, located in the Northern Chiang Mai Region of Thailand, Paradise Mountain Organic Farm lies within the virgin forest. Thousands of indigenous trees create a canopy of shade for young coffee seedlings and a resting and nesting habitat for local and migratory birds. Today, if you were to view our farm from above you would never know there was a farm of any kind in this undisturbed forest. It is here that we grow 100% world class single farm, organic Arabica coffee.
Using a method known as rustic traditional coffee farming, we grow our coffee without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. When we first began planting we did so without killing a single tree, this wild crafted method of planting is slow and difficult but it fits our vision of a good farm. Our neighboring rain forest and small scale tea growers are also free of any pesticides and chemicals so no cross contamination occurs on or around our farm. All strains of our coffee are planted on GPS coordinated plots in correspondence with the plantation area in order for us to identify and separate the various types of coffee we grow. Our coffee is shade grown and all of the foliage and mulch is put back into the soil to be used as a natural fertilizer, after months of care and preparation our coffee is ready for harvest. From here we leave our coffee in its final parchment stage in order to maintain the coffee’s integrity and provide a natural barrier. Upon orders our coffee is hulled and the green beans are then shipped to the Rocky Mountains to be roasted exclusively by our team at Paradise Mountain Organic Coffee.

Here is a link to Rimping Supermarket's online ordering page. They sell the coffee that I posted about in post #8.
The Rimping Difference
I order my coffee from a small independent company in Laos. Called Delta - great coffee and good service. They deliver for free to Ubon and will post from there to anywhere in the world.
In Chiang Rai we can get local grown 100% Arabica beans (often single estate), roasted medium or dark for less than 500 baht a kilo.
Personally I prefer Yoddoi Coffee, love their beans. Doi Chaang (most famous, export brand) sells the same locally at 650 to 700 baht a kilo.
It is easy to ship say 5 kilo by EMS to coffee lovers all over Thailand.
Foreign customers wanting green beans, no issue either based on EMS shipments.
And if people want Arabica beans from Laos, I have contact with a Dutch trader who ships those beans globally out of Thailand, let me know if you need his details.
Local Thai brands using beans grown in Kanchanaburi? Have been trying to find contact details for Sri Sawat coffee. Their web site is worse than useless.
Don't let it grind you down, bean there before.Originally Posted by backtofront

There's a bloke in Kanchanaburi called Somchai that sells good coffee. Can't miss him. Always wearing a Cap and Chinos.

Tell me what coffee you want, pay the postage, fuel and coffee price and I'll post it to you.
Where in Issan are you, if near by I'll take you over, no passport needed and you can buy your self.
I wanted percolated coffee and I have a little percolator boiler jug, but I had forgotten how to use it, as I haven't had coffee at home for years, so I watched a YouTube video of somebody who had made the effort to film himself priming a percolator, and thanks to him it all came back.
I love the coffee beans from Delta coffee on the Bolaven Plateau in southern Laos.
Sold them for years when in Thailand and now import them to Australia and for a few people within Thailand.
Was TP originally based in Pax Song?
Would it not be too hot for coffee beans where you are?
No sure where he was based but pretty sure you know him, Aussie guy.
He says no problem growing coffee here, not certain which type, but on his next trip to Lao he is going to get me the seeds/beans to grow in a nursery.
Nothing to lose giving it a try and something to keep me occupied, pretty boring a lot of the time.
Another crop that I can fail to grow properly.
