I am confused about Thai food...

Ok, I know how to cook frogs.

But how do you cook a turtle? Look at the price, it better be good. Found in the local market.

I bought a turtle once, I was under the impression it was a tortoise and thought it would make a nice addition to the garden of the Bungalow I was renting at the time, next day being a bit more sober I started to get a bit suspicious about this great deal I got with this tortoise, so I started asking the local Thais if my tortoise should be living in water, they explained the best way to cook my newly bought turtle, I mean I aint gonna cook an animal I bought as a pet, so I let him go in one of the Pattaya klongs.

^^ Ever swallowed klong water? - better murder than consign it to a slow and lingering death, at least it could have gone out in clean if rather warm water.

Maybe once or twice, it's long long time ago though. It's not bad actually.
