    Most Important thing is to start with a real good organic soil base with the garden watered every day, that what I've found as these avo's have really kicked off.

    All organic waste go's into that garden and I waste nothing.

    Next thing is to place the seed in the correct position so when it shoots it can grow straight up and out with out having to do a 90 deg turn to reach sun light.

    Hope that makes sense, have a look at the seed and place it in a vertical planting position.

    you can just fling them in the ground and hope

    best is to cocktail stick them over a glass of water till they push a shoot out then plant and water and wait

    I was reading a quote by a Thai lady who said her Avo's take 5 to six years to produce fruit but I would say It all relates to the growing conditions and the quality of the soil.

    The way my Avo'd going I recon mine will be the same as Ned's.

    You could always 'pot' up the extra avo's mate and give em away as gifts to like minded green fingers, thats what we do here, cheap charlie pressies that go a long way to those who appreciate em..

    I didn't know you had green fingers mate as I thought they were brown.
