Does anyone know if it's possible to purchase Senna here in Bangkok?

Cheers Thetyim. I was actually going to make my own infusion of figs, senna, sugar and lemon to make a laxative tincture and was looking for the raw ingredients.

I'll get the missus to give these a go if she can get them.

All I have to do is eat at a Thai food shop along any hiway in the country and for 3 days, I can shit thru the eye of a sewing needle at 40 meters 6 or 8 times a day.

no need for senna pods, just eat off the soi's: you might even break the record in santa pod

Believe me, she's been eating sour mango with shit loads of chilli, oysters and seafood from the street, making her own tamarind hot drinks etc...

I keep insisting that she goes and see's a doctor, but she's not having any of it.

I'll give her one last serious dose of Senna and fig and see how she gets on.

Failing that, I'll drag her to the hospital for a proper invasive treatment. Colonic irrigation please!

Seems like all Thai have this problem, get them on fiber caps for a few days and they will take em until they see that it is working, and so they do not need it anymore.
My wife has alwaqys been like this, so I used to buy pitted sunsweet prunes at 200 baht a bag and she ate a half dozen a day, then she got tired of that so quit em, now I started getting fiber caps from the states, and I hand her 2 every evening after supper, and watch her put them in her mouth and swallow, and every morning at about 0700 or before, she is in the shitter,
But they do not have the sense to do what works, so must be forced like a little kid and cod liver oil.

You're dead right there BG, she comes home with those huge frickin' fibre caps...tries eating cereal for roughage etc... takes a dump at the most inconvenient times.

There is a small green fruit, about the size of a grape, that my wife uses when we are back in LOS........ dont know the name but it seems to be sold solely as a laxative, tastes too bad to eat for pleasure.
Never need it myself....... beer and dodgy food keep me regular as clockwork... on the hour, every hour!
