On the qui vive Monsanto sold to Bayer who in addition to aspirin made chemicals for the nazis

From 1925 Bayer was part of
IG Farben, the world's largest chemical and pharmaceutical company. The American government seized IG Farben after World War II because of its collaboration with the Nazi regime and involvement in the Holocaust, which included using slave labour from concentration camps

One suspects the Thai authorities rely on the advanced western scientific community, the advanced western authorities who licence the chemicals and the advanced western sales people who assure the primitive, uneducated, simple local authorisation boards it's safe to use; pointing to the mass of "evidence" produced by the now proven western liars and corrupt multinational, too expensive to sue, companies.

That's what made Britain, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain and ameristan great, yes?

Or the British, French, Japanese, Italians, Spanish.

Not many made in Burma, Indonesia ..... though. I suppose the "western entrepreneurs" bought/stole the IP, along with a house girl/boy or two, for a mirror or a bag of coloured beads centuries ago.

Rape and pillage by the Big Tough Boys and Girls, continues today. Will the new gender undetermined be any better?

Whilst ever the uneducated rely on locally produced, cheaper and more readily available farm management chemicals it will continue. Too many find it tough to provide food for their families let alone the expensive western imported types.

Coincidentally, the gov mossie spray team showed up and fumigated the village today. Close all windows and doors. The annual routine. Gov says no worries. I say worry. The gov has been known to spew vast amounts of bullshit.

Indeed. The first time they came they wanted to spray the diesel or whatever it was inside the house as well as out side. I've since spoken with friends in the village and more and more citizens are saying no.

A few years ago they turned up during our wedding !
We'd heard them doing the neighbors and that was enough.
    No fucking way.
That was a while back and they give us a miss now.

The basic rules are the same here as in the Northern Territory.
    No standing water.
    That just about covers it.

What they actually spray is vapourised agricultural diesel. A thin cover of diesel is left on the surface of static water. This then causes the mosquito larvae to suffocate due to inability to breath. I can't find any info regarding agricultural diesel being a danger to humans. Or may be I'm talking bullshit. It is 'beer o' clock'.

    Edit:-
The insecticide in the fog is not harmful to human at the low concentrations used and it has no odour. ... Residents are advised not to be concerned about the fog, and are also requested to leave their doors and windows open when the fogging machine is in their area, so that the fog can kill mosquitoes inside the house.

we have the exterminator gang service our property twice a year, under the house, and the garden,we have been lucky that we have not had a problem with termite's unlike others who cant be bothered[or don't want to pay.]
all windows and doors are closed and pets kept inside for 2hrs.at least.
I have been near their equipment when adding a bottle of ? into the barrel of water to mix,if you don't wear a mask the fumes are enough to send you asleep.

Ran into this a few years back when working on an NIH funded project. Glyphosate might be behind the surge in Celiac disease. Especially troublesome since wheat farmers spray glyphosate on the crops not long before harvest to create a last spurt in production. Much of the chemical is still in the grains when it enters food production. From the NIH report abstract:

"A recent study on glyphosate exposure in carnivorous fish revealed remarkable adverse effects throughout the digestive system (Senapati et al., 2009). The activity of protease, lipase, and amylase were all decreased in the esophagus, stomach, and intestine of these fish following exposure to glyphosate. The authors also observed “disruption of mucosal folds and disarray of microvilli structure” in the intestinal wall, along with an exaggerated secretion of mucin throughout the alimentary tract. These features are highly reminiscent of celiac disease. Gluten peptides in wheat are hydrophobic and therefore resistant to degradation by gastric, pancreatic and intestinal proteases (Hershko & Patz, 2008). Thus, the evidence from this effect on fish suggests that glyphosate may interfere with the breakdown of complex proteins in the human stomach, leaving larger fragments of wheat in the human gut that will then trigger an autoimmune response, leading to the defects in the lining of the small intestine that are characteristic of these fish exposed to glyphosate and of celiac patients. As illustrated in Figure 1, the usage of glyphosate on wheat in the U.S. has risen sharply in the last decade, in step with the sharp rise in the incidence of Celiac disease. We explain the reasons for increased application of glyphosate to wheat in Section 13."

reading thailazers post about the danger to fish.its over 6yrs ago that we had a fish pond in our garden all tiled from top to btm.3days after we had our garden treated by the exterminator gang we lost all of our fish, which included some koi carp about 15 in total. when the garden is treated the pond was always covered by a big plastic sheet,so it was imposible for any pesticide would get in,so I thought it must have been ACID RAIN.how wrong was I,the gang came back and they found a very small hole in the sheet.as the pond was 15ftx 10ft.how strong must this stuff be.its no wonder the gang say our garden is always pest free.
I need to get shot of the fil.will it work.
