Small rotary hoe/tiller with gasoline engine

Does anyone have a clue where you can buy a small engine powered rotary hoe/tiller, i have checked every business i know of that could sell them around phuket but no one carry's them in stock or knows where to get one, about a 2foot/ 60 Cm cut would be all we require

60cm width is a lot, most small tillers/cultivators can do around 30cm width and string trimmer cultivator attachments do 20cm.
You'll have to look for a minitractor or a walk tractor, Kubota ought to have something suitable.

Husqvarna in BKK has them. They aren't cheap but top quality.

I had one in the states and silly me was convinced I wouldn't need it here and sold it. Kicking myself in the ass for that.

I am in the market so if you find something please post a follow up if you wouldn't mind

    huskymowers@gmail.com

    and web site:

Husky Mowers Thailand ? Husqvarna Garden & Lawn Products, English Speaking Sales & Service

They allegedly have both 600 and 900 width machines.

Thought I'd update this. I bought a tiller attachment that goes on the end of a Honda weedwhacker. It works OK. Can till down about 5" to 7". Its not that good for hard dirt however as it tends to skip over the dirt as there is no weight load. What I did was turned the dirt a bit with shovel then used it. Was worth the 1100 baht to try and have it. Will work for small localized areas. It is a bit heavy.

I was in CM yesterday and I saw a place that has the Tiller I am accustomed to and want. I did not have time to stop but will be checking it on my next trip there (whenever that is) I am still considering the HUSQVARNA TF230. It retails for 27k baht but will do a nice job for a small garden area.

I have been after one for years but the locals keep telling me it's not worth it and use the standard 'Lot Thai' with a small disc or ridge plough. I still prefer to double dig the plots but it is getting too much having to do it every year due to lack of maintenance while I'm away.

I have checked every shop that i have passed and are likely to sell rotary tillers in both Phuket and Phangna provinces that i though might sell or know where i can purchase one with no luck
One shop told me they stocked a electric one a few years ago but they no longer carried it because no one was interested in purchasing it

The link messed up with a redirect notice. I just Google searched tractors in Laos and a Kabotas web sight populated. The one pictured was 750usd.

I'm surprised you have a hard time finding these. We have used Kabotas on the farm for years. A bit bigger than the one in the link. I think they cost about 4k usd with different attachments. The type that has multiple discs, paddle wheels for rice farming and a wagon that I've often seen tooling down the roads.

Let us know what you find and prices. My info is a bit dated. Good luck.
