Hope to find and grow the jaboticaba (or jabuticaba) tree in Thailand. Anyone know the thai name of this tree?
It's a tree with grape-like fruit growing on it's trunk.

In Thai its called องุ่นบราซิล or brazil grapes

Is The Fruit Edible And Is It Nice?
^ yes very edible and tasty, picking the fruit when it's unripe and rock hard, then prepare it as you would a dish of Som Tam.
A internet search revealed sweet ripe fruit and use for jams, and fermented drinks.... there is one problem though, after taken of the tree, you have 4 days to consume, or process it.
4 trees arrived in the mail. Bought locally. 180thb each. Around 20cm from groundlevel. Wait for more as these are grafted. Another coming is from seed (tried picture but cannot)
