I'll have to look up Nubian goats.
Here on the Muzzie west coast of southern Thailand every Towel head and his dog has a few goats.
They are nice animals goats , we were grogged up on goats milk as my sister had a cows milk allergy.
    Lucky stuff. Great cheese too.

My god. Just Google's Nubian goats Thailand.
There's even a Thai fb page dedicated.
Heaps of info. I'm sure you'll source them.

Yes, I have tried my best to research sources of Nubian goats here. I have corresponded with Lulu and Daisy Goat Cheese, and also Thailand Goats, both through FB. L & D Goat Cheese don't have any available, and Thailand Goats does, but they are so very far away from Chiang Mai where I live and the transport cost is 8,000 per truck.

This is why I have now turned to forums hoping to find someone more local. I have tried to correspond with Hamza Farms in Chiang Mai, but so far no response.

    Any further thoughts anyone?

If you're making a business (or just recruiting some lovable life partners) then surely it'd make sense to borrow/rent a truck and go visit the kids, check out the ones you want (the smile is all important with a goat...) and bring them home.

Truck Rental - Chiang Mai Removals

I don't know the rates or how long it'd take, but you must be able to hire Somchai for 2 days, including a cheap overnight hotel for under 4,000, so you're saving on costs even if you buy 1 goat. You'd easy get a dozen kids in the back of those covered pickups...

I've hired bigger trucks than that with a couple of Somchais, driving over a few provinces, when moving house, for 2,000 per day (when I say I, we're talking the big boss: Mrs Boo).
    Cycling should be banned!!!

There's a poster goes by the name of Terry 57. He's going up Chiang Mai next week, ask him nicely and he may chuck a few in the back of his hire car. Although if it's as spacious as his condo.........

    Maybe some goats cheese

A much better quality dairy yoghurt can had from goat's milk, as well.

Original and higher quality milks, curds, and yoghurts derived from other hoofed-milk bearing creatures - goats, camels, yaks, llamas, etc - for ages as well as the present, in compared to the inferior and dangerous traits of hybrid chemically enriched bovine variety.
