Thread: price of land

Hi Guys.

I am interested in purchasing 150 to 200 Rai in and around Theong Chiang Rai some rice land some

Low hills, my problem is the price and the expectations of the Thais, agents are quoting silly money.

Any advice on values would be greatly appreciated.

Land office will give a taxable value, that's the minimum value for transfer fees etc, may not reflect the asking price though.

Baht and sold and real estate agents will have properties posted on line, price, titles, road access and power or not.

Do not believe one word a Thai tells you about the title, to them any title is charnote, go to a land agent, tell him what you want, he'll do the looking.
