    They can be easily broken for riding like horses. Very common in Australia. A lot of the outback farmers use them as they are cheaper to feed than horses.

    Recipe for cooking Emu meat
    One large pot of water with rocks in the bottom of it, throw in a Emu
    leg and boil for 36 hours, throw away the water and Emu leg and eat the rocks
