They can be easily broken for riding like horses. Very common in Australia. A lot of the outback farmers use them as they are cheaper to feed than horses.

...and they don't need petrol or insurance.

You can even stick your arm up an emu's ass and become a ventriloquist.

I made mine out of an old pair of tights and a pillow case!!

Here's some tips on caring for emus.

Recipe for cooking Emu meat
One large pot of water with rocks in the bottom of it, throw in a Emu
leg and boil for 36 hours, throw away the water and Emu leg and eat the rocks

That from someone obviously never dined on mu........some of the nicest mest ever eaten
