Thread: Thai flowers, your pictures

Known in English as Rangoon Creeper, Drunken Sailor and probably a few others. Flowers start out white and turn red after a day or so.

Plenty of greenery in the garden but the rains taken most of the flowers now.

This one flowered for about a week.
Don't even remember planting this one.Wasn't there last year.
Is it an Orchid?

No, it's not an orchid.
That pic is from above, looking down at the ground is n't it ? do you have a side on pic ?

I have some new flowers that are up and coming. Pics coming soon as they're merely seedlings now.

It's ดอกหงอนไก่ (Dork Ngorn Gai) in Thai or the cockscomb!

are fake flowers OK? This was taken in Chiang Mai, Thailand

I like them because they're super easy.. Basically if you want one all you have to do is chop off a branch-end and stick it in the ground.
