It's possible to point your camera direct to the sun and shoot an object!

Next time, take your UV filter off, add a zoom lens and try for some sunspots....

Ditto. They are superb. Just plain good photography. Nice subjects. Great composition. Flawless exposure.

Good work.

The Hanna Lake one is a good example. Difficult to get lighting like that exposed right, but he's got nice detail and nothing is washed out. I tried to coax a little more detail out of it, but I think I like the original better:

ok as I spent Saturday taking some pics (as mentioned in the Teakdoor newsletter) here's one of those pictures just to get away from the Pakistan theme for a while. The bloke on the bike moved faster than you might think so I had to be quick on the draw.
