Merseyside derbies are always tense, lively affairs so Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish attempts to come up with a plan how to nullify the Toffees and snatch three points



Halfway through the first half Jack Rodwell flies in and catches Luis Suárez. The referee Martin Atkinson sees Suárez's leap in the air and sends off Rodwell. Everton are down to 10 men



Two minutes before half time Suárez wins a penalty for Liverpool after being fouled by Phil Jagielka. Dirk Kuyt steps up and sidefoots the ball with power ...
