A glider pilot escaped serious injury after he leapt from his aircraft following a collision with another glider during a competition over Little Paxton, Cambridgeshire. The photos were taken by nearby resident Martin Boss, who witnessed the collision from his garden. The pilot suffered minor injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. His glider crashed upside down in a field and the broken wing landed nearby.
