live pictures now of troops on the streets looking very nervous
Interesting that Bangkok Post has nothing on the coup, Nation had some stuff but their web site seems to be going down now....
Possible pre-emtive coup by forces loyal to Thaksin
so this could be an affirmation of thaksins rule OR a coup? what are they hypothisyzing re this on the news?
Perhaps he (Thaksin) just feels left out because everyone's more concerned with Iraq and proper violence and political unrest. You know how moody Thais like to get attention when they feel ignored. Some think that Thaksin is launching his own coup, the troops are loyal to him and this is a coup to pre-empt another coup. Mmm, all sounds a bit desperate.
The truth is out there, but then I'm stuck in here.
how are they characterizing the numbers of troops??
All Thai free-to-air TV has videos of the King. CNN has live photos of troops and tanks on the street in BKK.
just Confirmed By Thai Tv That Everything Is Under Control And Under Military!!!
Thaksin is playing military it seems
