I am going to argue my case for remaining stickied with the following anecdote

I work in an office that is predominently male (not unlike teakdoor) everyday I have a conversation like this:

Man: hey have you seen reward resource pack pre int / discussions that work / meaning into words / pronunciation games
Me: isn't on the shelf?
Man: no I looked
Me: you want me to look?
Man: I looked, but you can look if you want
Me: I will look but if I find it I will use it to beat you dead *eyes narrowed dangerously*
Man: *swallows nervously* let me look again

(pause of about 10 seconds)

Man: nope it definitely isnt there
Me: *walks over to bookshelf, sees book, takes book down, slaps man with book*
Man: wow how do you do that?
Me: it's a mystery

I will mark today on the calendar as having a BAD start.

I dropped off one of my wife's friends last night outside the reaturant where her husband works.

At 03:00 this morning we got a call from said husband 'Have you seen my wife?'

This then started a quiz session from my wife 'Did I drop her off at the right restaurant? Did I actually see her go into the restaurant? etc etc'

Now she is starting to panic so she rang the husband back - it turned out that wife did meet the husband, they had a drunken row over some trivial crap and she fcuked off in the car. Now he is pissing off everyone he knows by ringing them up in the middle of the night to try and locate her.

And now its bloody snowing. Am I grumpy or what?

I hope that yer mate has calmed down and got some sleep by now. I bet they were drinking Gin though.

Hah! A whole can of worms got opened. This lot are better than any soap opera. They will have a chapter all to themselves when I write my memoirs.

Glad you arrived safely Captain.

My day was brightened by the appearance of the miraculous tomato.

The story behind this is that I went to the canteen fridge to get my sarnies and saw this half eaten bit of a tomato on a saucer. Now the people I work with are some of the dimmest lot that you could find by throwing a cordon around the east end of London, but they can normally be relied on to finish their lunch before they forget what they were doing and wander off somewhere. So I was going to throw it in the bin. But, and here is the miraculous bit, this it seems is a special tomato blessed by Allah - I'm not making this up - Apparently if you look carefully at the tomato you can see that Allah has written his name in it. I can't read tomato personally, but they took it down to the local mosque to have it verified by the Imam.

I expect that they will be making the second floor fridge a place of pilgrimage when I get back to work next week.

Well I am having a fantastic day. I am staying at the hairdressers next door to the dog here in Jomtiem and I have to say that almost as soon as I got here last Saturday I felt good about the place. This morning I got my mobile phone back from the dude who had to chip it for me so I am now contactable.

I also had a 26 metre LAN cable made up so I am piggy backing on the dogs connection and posting in air conditioned comfort

If anyone wants to call me just pm me for my number. Oh btw, if u think that I have your number, I dont. I have a new sim card so all the numbers I had on my old sim are lost. Well, not lost, but I couldnt be arsed putting the old sim back in and then writing them down.

Anyway, I am on holiday this month and I cant think of a nicer place to be.
Jomtiem has everything I could want and I am as happy as a pig in shite.

Oh yeah, I took a walk along the beach yesterday and bumped into twinkle who was playing shuttlecock. We chatted for a bit and he is a really nice guy (if a little odd). He said that he was going to post a feature thread on Jomtiem and Pattaya but was quite elusive when I asked what it was going to be about. We will just have to wait and see.

I am just so glad to be back in Thailand.
