Koh Proet on the south Chanthaburi coast, 10km from Laem Sing village, site of 'Camp Laem Sing' first for Vietnamese refugees in 1970s then later for Cambodians fleeing Khmer Rouge; at its peak over 5000 refugees were here.

These pics dated '1960s-1970s' shows access to the island by a bodgy DIY wooden walkway
