^ those pics are lovely HL, They emphasis to me how Thailand was never colonized yet managed to evolve into an independent free and world class country, especially considering the neighbors.
The ones who like to point out a backwardness of Thailand should look on this picture and ask themselves:
Did people of my country - I am so proud to be from - looked 100 years ago something like this? So, has my country - and its population - been developed in the same pace within 100 years? (for example: in the general health care?)
