Few years ago I met a transport of an old rice barge. Another year discovered one stored in bush (whether the same exemplar?), such a wonderful workmanship, was playing with idea to acquire it...

Some 30 years ago we could see them on the river in Bangkok bound in a long train, each barge exactly same as all the others.
Nowadays conversed as tourist cruisers...

That is a very early tram I do believe. Bangkok was far ahead of its time in that regard. Public transportation started in what 1893 or something like that. By 1967 or 1968 they were gone.
