In 2001, when work was proceeding to widen the road and continued skytrain construction intersected, authorities encased the multi-head elephant sculptures that adorn the bridge {see above} into steel cages for preservation. The original sculture landmarks were veneered and replace after construction finished - where they still stand today.

Is this the bridge just north of MBK, before you get to the Asia Hotel?
