A lorry load last about 15 days, so about 7,500 liters of milk.

So it costs 1.5 baht to produce a litre of milk, damn, somebody is making some money there along the line.

from my little knowledge re dairy products, raw milk is only the tip of the earning iceberg of the many derivates, prior the milk entering a carton/bottle

If only mate, you got to feed them food concentrate as well so you can add about an other 35-40,000 bhat a month on that and thats just feed cost. I make about 5-6 bhat a liter, selling for 11.45 bhat/l. Been a shit year this year, was doing the best part of 1000l a day last year
also surely 1.5 B/litre isn't the only cost RC has.. vet + meds, machines, HR etc..
I've only got 1 staff at the moment down from 3, vets and med is'nt usually a lot overall (do most of the vet stuff myself), prob 80-90% of the cost is in feed

This morning I spent 12 Baht for my breakfast and I just went to Pattaya (which took me 2 hrs to get there and 1.5 hrs to come back here) for Capucino flappe 70 Baht a glass.

In the evening, there's a party for me so, I will not pay any baht.

    82 Baht for today.

I bought food and booze for 160bth 2 days ago, and spent nothing since (family of 3, the other 2 don't drink).
Should mention I slaughtered a chicken and was invited to one of these booze-ups with karaoke at a neighbour's yesterday.

Had a big tick infestation, most have got blood parasites. Sold the worse, injected the others, but they are still getting over it. Did'nt replace any we sold cos had staff probs at the same time, so just run it now with me, the misses and 1 staff. 1 person can milk on their own, but its hard work for anything over a few days.
