I just voted for my one.

As I now have a new nick, can I vote for it again with my original nick or would I be disquallified?

    Cheers.

Why? Can't I have a new nick if I don't use my previous one again (Unless I need it to claim a prize of course).

I didn't. I'm not going to vote for someone who only joined TD because of this comp. He should piss off as far as I'm concerned.

A bit harsh, but I completely agree. I didn't vote for him either. He's welcome to post as far as I'm concerned, but when this contest began he just came out of the blue with that photo. I gave him a green for it, but that's all he gets from me.

^ i don't think the pic is all that fantastic myself. The area photographed is, the scene impressive, but the shot as a photograph mundane. I am surprised That it is getting more votes than bustaK's shot. Thetyim's & bustaK's photos take the mundane and present in dramitc ways.
These scenes, as well as Macha's and DurianFan's show a photographers eye, taking the shot that many of us would have walked by. They used framing, and good photographic skills to capture the common scene and present with an uncommon perspective.
MAcha deserves a helluva lot more than 6, although I think the lead photo deserves it's position.

If he's not posting why not just take him out. I didn't realise thats all he did and i voted for him. I also scrolled past thetty's without looking at it properly and didn't vote for it.

Now i've looked I think its the best. Could someone who hasn't voted stick one in on my behalf?

For everyone that thought their photo was crap and had to vote for it themselves:

    buriramboy
Fabian (only 1 vote, their own)
    Megahorn
chitown (only 1 vote, their own)
    Nawty

    dirtydog

jizzybloke (only 1 vote, their own)

    Marmite the Dog

    Thai Pom

    durianfan

Some of the guys even knew their shots were crap and had the decency to not vote for themselves resulting in 0 votes. Then we got the guys with only one vote which they cast!

I thought mine was no good compared to the others so didn't vote for it.

Agreed, but many people refrained from voting for him because of him, rather than the photo I reckon.

I think Bobcock's piccie is worth a mention as well. It really captures the atmosphere well.

I just noticed the full glass of beer in Spin's photo. It's down near his feet duringthe wedding rites. Lucky bastard, all I got at 6am during my friends ceremony was shot, after shot, after shot, of lao khao.

    Nice one.

Congratulations to all, an excellent display of photography as an art.

Tough decisions on a couple. Wasn;t surprised after voting to discover whom was leading the contest. Well Done.

The most interesting thing about this exercise was noting the differing perspectives of the photographers. It is pretty obvious in a lot of cases the photographer was after a very succinct point of view.

It looks like we also have a large amount of 'Darkroom' professionals that can further enhance their desired effects.

All the entries were winners in their own way so hat's off and greens to all. Could have voted for all but my own. Instead I voted for just one. Not an easy task as there are several excellent ones.

To me the two best for subject, composition and photographic skill were Jasonbalmer's Balloon at Dawn and Thetyim's Rice Field.

Opted for Thetyim's Rice Field. Probably because it is something I see everyday out my backdoor and I sure couldn't have captured the scene as well as Thetyim.

What's wrong with Ballmers pic? I voted for it, is there some sort of speculation about something going on here?
