I've just got my camera out to post what it is, and I see that smartie-pants Knicka has already posted the information. I'll say it anyway. Olympus C-740 Ultra Zoom.Originally Posted by DrAndy

But what the fuck. Again. Here it comes again, slightly smaller.

Here Go's :-
View over the Kwai River, from Khao Poon Cave.
River Kwai Bridge, Grey morning.
Sleeping Boatman, Kwai.
Sabang, that's what I call photography. Nice bright light. Good perspective and sharp.
Kudos
So much to look at.
I like the look of sheer delight on the old ones face in the window reflection as she gives the devil a good soaking.
And the delight on the girl's face as she gives a perfect facial.
The recoil of fear in the boy in the back left upon seeing the devil (possibly).
The colour refraction (or whatever) in the boy's throw of water.
The exact moment of explosive impact between icy cold water and face.
And the fact it includes the devil himself.
Isaan... bloody hell.

As for my last pic, I can't choose between these. If anyone can say 'Put in the 3rd one' for example, I'll put that in and delete the rest. So as it stands, none of these pics are being entered, just asking which one I should put in.
Cheers.
^^How about having a booby prize aswell, say breakfast at Crazy Daves (about 50 baht), so at least i have a chance of winning something??
^I don't think it is a good idea to start killing off posters at this stage of the game

difficult to say, as it's hard to see them properly, but the light looks interesting in number 3, so I'd say that one.Originally Posted by Megahorn

I have found that when taking pics of water splashing in sunlight with a compact digital it is a good to crank up the ISO to 200+. This seems to force the shutter speed faster rather than close the aperture so it is a good way of taking control of the shutter speed on compacts which don't allow direct control.
I like your third one, Sabang, but didn't you read Bustak's *POP* thread?

After the POP:
Thanks. I pressed the big button thing, next to the power button thing to take the photo.Might benefit from a faster shutter speed to sharpen up the droplets and water edging.
I think.
