I try and sit down with my daughter first to explain the joke, and then we set it up. I kept her away from the KW and Marylin Monroe ones for obvious reasons, but then she saw the pictures on my phone anyway. OK... so I admit I have a problem.

I can't help feeling that I should be spending my time in isolation more constructively.... but I wake up thinking about the next scene for Dan, my hour in the gym is spent thinking about ideas for different posters, and when I go to bed I think about it again. It's taking over.

My big worry is that with time these will start to become offensive and let's be honest, there is a lot more time yet to go... My wife frequently tells me I become offensive with boredom and cheap whiskey... and I now have both in abundance!

I'm very aware of my newbie status, but after a couple of Ya Dongs it may happen, I may cross the line. Apologies in advance as I'm just gonna keep going.

I'm very excited about tomorrow's 'Terry57', and I just hate that I'm excited about it. After only two weeks!

And there could be months to go...

Cheers for that Mendip, gave M'Sahib a chuckle also. No, the hair is 100% genuine (think you can see the roots in the photo below). Got the first touches of grey when I was 21, and completely white when I was thirty. On the Immigration photo that I posted, someone made a 'Bill Clinton' comment. Took me back to some years ago whilst working in Qatar, and the Palestinian secretary for the department also called me Bill Clinton.

You and I do share some similarities, i.e. both oilfield and a compassion for animals (we have 4 dogs, 7 cats).

You have in fact been the most difficult to date. My daughter had to comb out my Santa Clause wig and then tie the hair back with elastic bands. Dan wasn't comfortable with this thing on her head and kept shaking it off... so I stuck it on with duct tape. That gave me the idea for the wig gag... sorry...

The shoes have no grip and kept slipping on the table, so I had to duct tape them down as well to stop Dan sliding forward and lying down. That just didn't look right while waiting in an immigration queue.
