we have our heating on from 6am to 10pm, set at 22C so its nice and toasty. why doesnt your old man turn the heating up. with the government heating subsidies householders have been getting for the past couple of years surely its a no brainer? the weather this past 2 months has been unusually awful with incessant depressions blowing in from the west bringing storms, rain, hail and hill snow. there was hardly any autumn this year, straight from an excuse of a summer into the gloom of winter. the temperatures have not been too low though with only one truly cold blast so far.
the nannying media here are forever broadcasting unnecessary "red zone danger to life stay home" warnings whenever it gets a bit wet or windy, and they always drag out some po faced climate crisis misery from the meteorological office to ram it home, whereas all they need to say is "look at the fucking calendar dickhead, it's december, so put your big coats on"
