Yep on both cases. Experience that a few times each way almost every trip. I especially enjoy the turn signal on for the eventual U turn some where coming up.

I do. Been without cell service all day, and still not fixed. This has been a huge disruption for the entire country. Credit and debit cards aren't working, and 911 services are down in certain areas.

To be fair, the quality of Thai road maintenance once you head north, is not very good. The overloaded pickups and large trucks daren't venture into the nearside lane.
