And just send my cheque in the mail.

I must admit that I didn't try the magnesium idea - good rationale, though. I shall look for some at the mall down the road. Thanks. for that . . but no payment is forthcoming as it hasn't achieved results yet (as I haven't tried it )
The masseuse today was a Malay lady from Sabah . . . tough as nails . . . but it's getting better
I came to Norway in September for 2 to 3 weeks work. My wife packed short sleeved shirts and forgot to put in a jumper.
I'm now into week 9 and it started snowing today. Not proper dry snow that you can make snowballs from, but wet slushy snow that makes your feet wet when walking home from work.
Tonight I'm cold and wet and remembering why I moved out to the Far East in the first place.
^ You need a Trenchcoat ...
If it were my wife, and I'm sure yours is very different..., it'd be because she'd hope I catch pneumonia and die so she could get all my wealth - yes, all of it...
We have quite a lot of South Africans at work. Smiling to them all and saying "oh well, you deserved to win on the day..." is getting rather tiresome. Just watched the game back, and realize what an utter kunt Garces is. South Africa played really well, but by fuk did he go out of his way to help them... French bastard...
Cycling should be banned!!!
Saw a scooter accident this morning.
Car waiting in traffic. Decides to turn right/do a u-turn. Scooter coming up the outside of the stopped traffic.
Nothing too unusual in seeing that accident here.
Unfortunately this morning there was a young girl on the way to kindergarten on the back. 4-5 years old. No helmets.
About 3 meters in front of me, didn't realize there was a child (under the crumbled scooter) until I heard her wail and cry maybe 2 seconds after impact.
Got there immediately with 2 or 3 other Thais. Thank Christ she wasn't pinned down or majorly injured. Graze near her temple, a slightly cut and bloody eye, and very light drop of blood from one nostril. Her father semi-conscious and unable to get up for the 10 mins or so before the medics got there, with a golf ball sized lump on his forehead and blood all over the place. Shopkeepers held and took care of the kindergarten girl.
No helmets, taking kids to school on scooters in Thai traffic. That's my moan.
Not unusual to see bike cops taking their helmetless kids to school, just part of how this fascinating cuntry works.
I used to see one cop with one kid on the back, one lying flat on the gas tank.
Talking of scooter accidents, i've saw a few here. One that sticks in my head is the guy lying there unconscious next to his bike when this guy comes up and sticks a nasal inhaler up the guys nostril, leaves it there and strolls off.
A good and valid moan.
She’s one of the lucky ones. How many wind-up dead, or disabled, para or quadriplegic, mentally damaged, incapacitated, unable to care for themselves…
25 years ago nobody wore helmets. Today, many do. Law enforcement and fines do work. But, how many of the helmets are “valid” crash safety certified?
Motorcycle helmets save lives - plastic hats, not so much…
Hard to imagine that a 4 year old girl with no helmet was under that, and only suffered a minor graze.
Wonder if the family will be commuting with no helmets again.
Oddly enough I think the odds are yes.
^ The absence of a Samaritan law in Thailand doesn't help.
People will stand around after an accident but not help - out of concern they will later be sued by the victim's family if something goes wrong.
^^ Didn't get that feeling at all.
Myself and the others were wary to immediately pick up the little girl due to possible unseen injuries as we tried to assess her, as she got up a female shopkeeper took her up and held her over by her shop.
^ That's great if people are helping. An awful lot of lives can be saved by first aid.
A while ago a good mate of mine was involved in a very serious accident and he was physically held back by bystanders to stop him trying help. At the time he was told that "you can't help people in Thailand". Hopefully attitudes are changing.
^ Just for interest... Norway have turned this around to such an extent that you can get prosecuted if you don't help victims of an accident.
If cctv footage shows you drove past an accident without helping, you will be in trouble - especially if it's found that you have first aid training.
Once I was driving the family on our local road I came a bend to find a motorbike in the middle on it's side I noticed a girl in the road and stopped parking my truck to protect her with my hazard lights on.
After looking at the screaming hysterical girl, who had a few scratches on her leg I noticed another body. There was not a sound from him and after asking my wife to call an ambulance and police and being told by her to leave them, I went back to the quiet body.
By now other cars had stopped/were passing by with phones recording the scene.
He was still breathing but I could see a open wound on the top of his head where blood was oozing out. Some of the girls relatives had arrived and tried to calm her down. I continued talking to the man who was not conscious but continued breathing. The local ambulance arrived and they took over, put him on a board and taped his head and went off. The police arrived spoke to my wife, who had sat in the truck all the time and we left to continue our journey.
It looked as if they had misjudged the bend, the girl skidded down the centre of the road, but the man hit an embedded Km post, head on.
A tray full of GOLD is not worth a moment in time.
-5 walking into work this morning.
Still wearing short sleeved shirts and still haven't got a jumper.
That's my moan.
Anyone for bananas? Sidled up to a stall, Thai picks up a bunch, how much, 50, puts it down and moves on, I pick it up, how much, 60, but but you said 50, no that one's 60, but it was 50 10 seconds ago as wifey catches up and figures what's going on, says something, vendor smiles and says yes 50 that's what I said.
Hailstones and a hangover, double whammy on my poor head.
^^^ Is that the patch where you slipped and landed on your arse?
