Did they tell you what they're going to do with this nice new leveled plot?

Make a nice garden or build an industrial manufacturing plant?

Post #11. They didn't tell us. A 3rd party did.

Which side of it will be along your wall.

A side, which will have a fire escape ladder and an end of hallway window on each floor, or the back of it, which will have Lulu-only-knows how many balconies with low-class Thais cooking stinking dinners on, while screaming, shouting and throwing all their crap down into your garden?

^ But the Thai promised that they're gonna hire a backhoe to take all the soil back in the future.

Fact is, Molle is right. The only outlier is if you happen to own a huge chunk of farmland. While there are markers, they do not care about 1 meter. Our entire area is plotted out and the govt knows where property lines are. I have seen aerial pics.

@ Prag. Like you, I let my wife navigate these back and forths. The thing is, while we had a wall built around our property, what the neighbor does is really out of our control. Even if you put the the entire wall inside your property line, dirt will rest up against it so what are you to do? Sure it seems like they encroached on your land. Our walls were built right on the noted property lines. The only argument people have would be if a tree growing on the neighbors side and knocking it over. Interestingly when I asked some time back, "What is the max wall height you can build" and it was an "Shrug" response. Also to note that a neighbor can add landfill to as high as they want as long as the dirt doesn't come in your yard. Crazy I know.

Hopefully as you mentioned, water to your place doesn't become an issue. Easement's are relatively inexpensive in the big picture.
I sure hope mendy doesn't end up in gun play after all this time of tossing the 7 dogs poo over the neighbours fence? Or perhaps it will result in a bumper crop of sweetcorn?

Scorpions and centipedes disctreetly go over the wall into one neighbour's property but that's due to a long running grudge, which was their fault.

All dog's business goes over the wall onto vacant land. I'm sure someone must own it but the land is just scrub at the moment.

I guess an average of 14 poos a day go over our walls, over 5000 a year!

Thankfully beetles seem to do a great job of distributing the stuff, or else we'd have the same problem as Prag with the neighbour's land level half way up our wall.

I really don't know, I just hope that it never happens.

Would you want to live next door to us?

Not particularly, but I am thinking some short term AirBnB places would be just perfect there.

Probably the social media hub of...your immediate area.

And then there's all the aforementioned excrement on top.

    Good point.
