A couple of suggestions:
- Shave your head, wear a nice dress, a mouth full of foamy toothpaste and turn up in court in a wheelchair.
- Be ordained as a monk..and be among ‘friends’.

The wheelchair is the way to go,and yes the saffron robes will do the trick.

I understand where you are coming from. But I recall a case recently where some farang got an incredible sentence (50 years?) for an amount of drugs that would normally get a light sentence (although I really cannot remember all the specific details).

I have no real time for thieves, but I do have sympathy for someone who makes one dumbarse decision and might pay in a completely disproportionate manner.

Problem is, the courts here seem more like a lottery system than a justice system.
