Don't get me started about embassies. So far I have been at the german and the US embassy in Bangkok and I am not sure which is worse.

went to the Cambodian Embassy the other day - the front entrance is closed and you have to get in through the side alley opposite Lumpini Park.
maybe that's old news .... only had to queue for about 10 mins to get visa sorted (and return later on same day to collect passport)
