So here's a new update for the weekend - the good weather has enabled the workers to make progress.

The roof structure and tiles are in place over the building about centre which will be a family guest-room. Right now, the workers are extending the room metal support structure further to the right until it meets up with the end of the existing guest-room building, and a further guest-room will be added in that area (which looks small because of the photo angle, but the room size is 4.5 metres wide x 5 metres depth.

I've taken down my radio antenna so that it doesn't get damaged due to these building works.

The space to the right of the two rooms on the left side is to allow guests to walk from this hotel to the new mini-resort that I will soon start building on the adjacent land - I'm starting a new thread on it now. (I will of course, knock a hole in the boundary wall...)

This walkway also allows easy access to the rear of the buildings, (because building of the final 4.5 x 5 room that I mentioned above will block the existing rear ... er .. access!

Also, maybe the new mini-resort will share a swimming pool or restaurant etc, and so this walkway provides easy guest access between the two projects.

I'll continue this thread as the building work continues, but let me start a new thread right now for the latest project.

I hope u are all keeping up

Indeed, that photo of the back of the unfinished building does look rather like a Pyrennean cattle shed

But like many things, sometimes the rear view is way uglier than the front view, and the front view can look very appealing with some make-up etc. When this building is finished, painted and adorned with plants and flowers, it will no doubt look like a very upmarket and chic cattle shed.

I wonder who would pay for the upkeep of the swimming pool or restaurant?

OK, final update. The building and fitting-out of the 4 new guest-rooms aka cattle-shed is now complete, and these rooms are now occupied most nights by hotel guests.

I've taken a panormaic view inside one of the new guest-rooms

Having completed this work, it looks like the next project to follow immediately is the building of the Traditional Resort and an extra 3 guest rooms at the City Resort. But I'll add relevant comments on those threads.

100 metres further down the road from #3. I have the plans all signed off and approved now, so I'll hopefully start posting in that separate thread.

Who signs this for you? The orbortor or an engineer?

I was talking about Mrs #4.

Does Mrs #3 or Mrs #2 have a sister (or perhaps a LB brother?), that'd spice things up in keeping with previous efforts.

Indeed, it is a short-time room, typically no more than 8 hours for most customers. As for slappers, I'm sorry but we are sorely lacking on that part. would a LB suffice for you in an emergency??

To keep the costs and hassle-factor to a minimum, I use the OrBorTor engineer to draw up the plans, and then they are signed off by the same OBT.

I learn from previous experience that if you use an 'external' engineer, then the OBT can be picky about signing off the plans and the signature fee seems to increase dramatically.

For hotel #4, I paid 30,000 baht for a full set of plans and 10,000 baht to get it all signed off and ready to start.

I was talking about Mrs #4.
Alas, I have no news on that front. The ex's do have various, dysfunctional family members, but none that would stir my interest.

I intend to live a simple life at hotel #4, devoid of the pleasures of the flesh, apart from an occasional wank with a rubber glove.

Why the rubber glove? Are you afraid of catching a disease from your own knob?

Sigh... it's the sensation isn't it? Feels like another person iis tugging your tonka. Dress up in fishnets and the fantasy is even more realistic.

Anyway, this is somewhat off-topic - I thought we were discussing chic cattle sheds...

    Yes Simon,

You're rooms look OK, I hope you have fitted A/C or are these the rooms the one's you have built without A/C ?

Anyway, regards the rubber glove, I tend to wank into one and not with one.

    Just saying like.

    Simon

Yeah it would take a lot more than you lending out your boy friend to entice me to stay at a place that looks like that.

Well, they are ex #2's rooms, not mine. No A/C in these rooms and no complaints from guests. Bear in mind that the vast majority of the hotel customers are Asian (thanks to the wonderful marketing competence of TAT), so they appreciate the discount price and hot and humid atmosphere - makes them feel at home
