A poor mans pottery Kiln.
I can't see any chimney so I will rule out any fire or smoke.
It has a roof over it so you want to keep it dry and cool.
Probably making something, how about wine, cheese or yoghurt ?
Edit: Add fermented fish (pla-laa) to the list

I expect that it is nothing more sinister than a safe place to relay the wifi signals from the garden cams and provide a little shade fror the delicate equipment.
I reckon its a special place for Nedwalk to stay on his next visit.
We tried to book the students leaving ball at D&G, expensive
Is it that mad egg shaped thing that Robin Williams used to get out of at the start of the Mork and Mindy show?
Or perhaps its a newly constructed D&G annex for small people like cmn?
That's to keep the riff-raff out.Originally Posted by Jarvis
Hillbilly seems to have left this thread, perhaps it is an interplanatery gate.
For people that guessed making charcoal, they are correct. This art is dying out, so we thought a replica of the real thing was in order.
so you don't need a chimney, or is that at the back?
Often times the chimney (steel pipe) is shoved through the front door. Keep in mind that the fire is started inside, mud/clay is used to enclose the door, then it is just a matter of waiting.
If to much air gets in the wood will ignite and burn instead smoldering and making charcoal, We still make all our own charcol in village and some for selling. The trick is having someone really small and doesnt mined getting dirty as removing it is a really dirty jobOriginally Posted by DrAndy
