Thread: Wood houses - how much do they cost to build?

There are a few newer wooden houses around town.

Some have concrete bases and wooden uppers, others are all wood.

HOw much do they cost to build?

Don't know, but the cost of wood has sky-rocketed over the last few years. It's turning into a 'luxury' material.
I found it cheaper to build a steel-structure for the porch.

Yeah, the environment protection policies are finally taking effect.

Right then.

I guess I need to take some photos then people can make some estimates on the cost.

My sister in law built a basic Thai style house, concrete (tiled) downstairs and wood upstairs for a few hundred thousand baht - quite big, but very basic. I'll see if I can find some pics.
