The zip code was correct for Phimai District so the package probably went to the correct district at least. If your package had the name "Nong Rose" on it, perhaps "Thai wisdom" helped the package along its way to the village.

so i just got off the phone with the USPS and they told me to check thai post co ltd and my tracking number should work. So I did that and here is what I found. Can you please take a look at their website and enter this tracking information. I think if we can narrow down where it is, than I can send her to the post office to pick it up.

so I just got off the phone with USPS, they directed me to thailand post co ltd, stating my tracking number will work there and show where it is. I took a look at the site, it shows where it is, can you please take a look at it and punch in my tracking information? I cannot read thai, auto-translate does not translate everything, i can see it was signed by something in thai 30110. This leads me to believe its sitting in a post office somewhere possibly.

I just had a look at it. Your parcel went to the main mail centre near Korat city, then it went 50km up the road to Phimai, then it was sent back to the Korat mail centre, then it was sent to Chaiyapum province, and 3 hours later it was moving again. It looks like now it is on its way back to Phimai again. It says: ส่งต่อ 30110, which means "Forward to 30110" - which is Phimai. So perhaps the people in Phimai post office will try again. Perhaps if you can contact them you can give them the correct address, in Thai as well as English.

No chance Nong Rose is scamming you? Telling you she didn't get it, when she really did? In hopes of getting additional equipment out of you...

Just tossing out another possibility. By the looks of Neverna's posts probably not likely since the PO says pkg is on the move again. Which begs the question, why were you told it was delivered successfully?

    Oh yeah...TiT.

Excuse me for sticking my US based oar in. I know my other possibility above happens here. "Oh no we didn't get our order/pkg, please send it again." Sometimes it works...

I thought that perhaps you could tell USPS who could then pass it on to Thailand Post but perhaps that is not possible.
It might be easier to give the parcel tracking number to Nong Rose as she's not far from the post office in Phimai (about 18km/11 miles away) and she could sort it out for you. Perhaps you could arrange to phone them too if necessary. Here's the phone number for the Post Office in Phimai: 044-471342. The Thailand code is +66.

In this case I think it is a case of TiT. If you look at Wonder's post #77, twice the tracking system says "Delivery Status: Successful", but it's clear the parcel has not been delivered to anyone's home. It has been "successfully" signed for in Chaiyapum, but that looks like it has been signed off by someone in the Chaiyapum office. The second time it says "Successful", is when someone has sent it on its way back to Phimai.

One question remains unanswered at the moment, if the parcel left Chaiyapum for Phimai on Thursday morning (30 August), why hasn't it arrived at Phimai yet? Perhaps it has but the tracking system hasn't been updated yet. Odd.

you're good at making posts about something where you can give literal advice, neverna.

    keep it up!

stay out of threads where lateral thinking is involved.

I have sent mail to both Thailand and Taiwan, and written the address in Thai and Mandarin respectively, and simply written "THAILAND", and "TAIWAN" underneath in English. They all arrived safely.

thanks for all your help it is much appreciated. I have communicated with her today, she will be going to phimai post to pick it up, hopefully it is there and not out and about when she goes, but at least at this point it should be taken care of. She is only 21 so still a young kid so I will not put any blame on her.

in regards to others questions, she has no need to provide a false address, or lie and say she didnt get it to get more stuff. We are the official sponsor now, so she can get as much of anything she wants. So she definitely will want to give correct address, receive products, so on and so forth.
