Best use for Mai Pradu is doors windows and frames.

You may have problem using hand tool. Hard piece of timber but durable against termites (not the sapwood). Excellent for flooring even for external deckings or bench. Some here call this false Rosewood.
Seems a shame to cut it up for moldings, and I already have floor. So bar, countertops it will be.
