    Annoying problem

When i'm typing my curser jumps randomly around the screen and it's driving me nuts, i've googled it and it blamed my mouse so i unplugged it and it still does it, another answer on google is that i might be accidentally touching my mousepad (whatever it's called) but i'm nowhere near it and it's still doing it!

I'ts getting right on my fucking tits!
Well, luckily I didn't have any tortoises on me at the time...

I've had that before too, and yes highly annoying!

Seemed to 'fix' itself after a short time though, never did find out what caused it.

Probably the dirtiest place in your whole house is your keyboard mate.

All those horrible little things that drop off your fingers, all the oil and food particals, boogers and pubic hairs that get in and around those keys.

I had my key board dismantled after I spilt some coffee on it and you would be surprised how much shit gets in there and on the electical contacts.

    Good luck with it mate.

'Fix itself' is the extent of my PC diagnostic expertise - anything beyond that I call in the experts (my wife... who in turn calls someone who knows what they are talking about )

Does the problem occur only when you are typing on TD. Do you get the same problem when using MS Word?

Have you noticed it it happens more often when you're low on resources, or too many things running? When it happens here I move the mouse around and it seems to 'catch up' with the random movements, and then behaves.

Have you tried disabling the touchpad and using only an external mouse?

I know you said you were nowhere the touchpad but try it anyway.
