You have downloaded an .avi file and your computer has associated it with Winamp

Does it play OK with winamp

Are you copying it to CD or DVD and using which program?

Really doesn't matter what kind of file it is. Have you tried to simply copy it to CD using Windows copy function or some other program like Nero? If so and it doesn't copy, the file may have a built in copy protection.

If the file is in a folder, open the folder, then View, Details. You will see file name with .??? after the name. You will also see the file size.

As I said in my previous post, if all you want to is copy to CD try what I said.
