    Firefox Browswer "proxy denied"

My firefox browswer says something like "proxy denied," or "proxy server denied."

But I can use Internet explorer.

    How do I fix this?

    TIA

"I'm no tech-expert here", but I am too using a proxy, not here at teakdoor tho

Isn't that you have to tell your proxy server that you have Firefox?
    or
Have you tried restarting your computer after the proxy configuration?

Sorry I don't know anything else

I didn't know I was using a proxy server. I just moved apartments and am using WIFI. Related?

I have been using Firefox for years.

I don't think I'm using a proxy server, because I don't know what one is, nor how to use one.

Thanks Marmers, but how do I disable it?

    Clear cookies?

    I'm lost.

Control Panel - Network Connections [select your connection] - Properties - Internet Protocol TCP/IP - Properties [select obtain stuff automatically]

It might work, might not depending upon your settings.
