PCTools anti-virus

I've noticed my anti-virus has stopped updating which it normally does every other day. It's now been over a month since it update soI clicked the manual update but it will not locate the server. I've also tried visitng their usual site and that is down.

Anyone use this and having similar issues?

Google avg etc then try accessing similar sites for av software, if you can't access them you been hijacked.

Can't access those either.

I had a virus called kido 32 or something. Not sure if that was the problem. Either way i can't access any anti-virus sites. Or at least those two I have just tried.

Exactly the same. Assumed it was because my avg is a blag, although it is licensed for a long time to come

If it's Net-worm.win32.kido.ih I think it's also called Conficker.

I downloaded the spybot av last night. This morning there were 119 red security alerts. Cheers for the site dd. AVG still not updating though.

Fuck this piece of bollox cuntilocks shit. I have this damn virus again.

Can't visit sites despite my pctools saying it has blocked an attempt.

Although my pctool is appearing to run, I have a red windows shield saying that it doesn't detect a firewal or anti-virus on the pc. I don't know enough about pcs to sort it so i'll take it in to a dealer.

Backup your data and use something like boot and nuke to wipe the HDD

then re-install the OS. Ive never trusted anyone over here to do a proper job with a virus.
