AJAX ideas have been around for quite some times. Netscape was planning to do all that but didn't have time to do it. MS killed NS and instead a stronger contender made it to the game: Google
^ Zoho looks very interesting. Trying them now

This is why MS needs to kill Google, they have no choice, Google is going to the core of their money making business.

Slimboyfat - live-cd means you can run the linux operating system without installing in on your hard drive, it runs straight from cd or dvd - I'm an expert cos I read a few things about it last night. It's really just a way to try out linux to see if you want to go the whole hog and install in properly.

I didnt get where I am today by changing my operating system without trying the new one out first.
I switched to Apple. Their OS is linux based.
Easy to use and none of these worms and shit.
And best of all no Microsoft!.
Though I did pick up a copy of Microsoft office at Pantip for 400bht which works great.
Exel btw was originally written for Apple and works best on the Apple OS.
What makes it better on the Mac OS?Originally Posted by Mr Earl
Not sure, but according to the mac experts it's better partly because it was originally written for that OS.
I haven't used exel very much.
The MS Word works great on the mac. I use that much more.
I thought so.
Basically, a program like Excel or Word will work equally well on any OS that it is written for, because it doesn't actually do much. To say it is better on one OS than another is complete bollocks. Does it add up numbers more accurately on the Mac OS? Of course not.
