Yup, the thais look to the west seemingly when it comes to IT 'crime' and seem to very much like the dance of the big brother tune.
Only instead of out and out crime fighting it seems to me more of an excuse for mafia-style extortion - Thai Style!

The proposed Data Protection legislation seems to be modelled largely on that in effect in the UK.
