^ Aah... not often the bed's that crowded.
It must have been Saturday night then!
Does you phone charge ok wirelessly?
If so, that really is the route forward - I haven't charged my phone via a wire since I bought it.
Would it affect your car music setup (or do you connect wirelessly?)
Is the gardener pregnant?
Why would you buy a Samsung phone in the first place, they are crap, everyone knows that...
Anyways, good luck, and let's hope it's a boy!
Cycling should be banned!!!
^ Yes... I've borrowed a wireless charger and also ordered one from Lazada.
It doesn't seem to charge wirelessly when Bluetooth is in use, so it would upset my in-car system no-end as that is when I charge it.
Also, it's the principal. It's a new phone and I should be able to charge it any way I want.
Don't know about the gardener, but no way will I cover maternity leave.
The Samsung camera is great... should see the greens I've had on the Dinner thread!
So long as it's healthy, that's all that matters!
What colour is the bladdy strip inside the sim slot?
Those coonts at apple and samsung will still void your warranty if theres water damage even though they are supposed to be waterlproof for 30 minutes at 6 feet.
My missus iphone took two days in rice with the sim removed before it came back to life, after I took it swimming.
.....
View LDI
Remove the SIM/SD card tray from the device.
Once the tray has been removed, look into the slot of the phone where the tray would have been inserted. You will see a little sticker on the inside.
Review the image below to identify what the color of your LDI sticker means.
Not tripped indicates that there has been no liquid damage
Tripped LDI indicates that the phone has been in contact with liquid and voids the manufacturers warranty
Removed LDI indicates that the LDI has been peeled off and removed from the device. When this happens, the manufacturers warranty is also void.
You can charge wirelessly while the buetooth is on, so no problem there. I gave up thinking "it's the principle" when I lived in Thailand.
Have you considered moving to a less humid climate, so you don't void the phone's warranty with your living choices?
Regarding Samsung, bastards at the best of times, particularly so in Toyland. In Korea, equally dire... I dropped my Note 10 in Japan, 1 pixel (or whatever the fuk they are called is broken), under the glass, the glass didn't break, but I have a thin green line across my screen (hardly noticeable), but if you notice it then it's irritating. Took it to the Samsung repair shop - "No problem, Sir, that'll only take 30 minutes to fix, please sit down and we'll grab you a cup of coffee while you wait." smile... "How much will it cost?" "250,000 won." eyes down... "Bye bye"...
It's white!!!
No liquid damage!
Take the fuker back and upgrade to an S20 - imagine the photos...
I will try again, but while I was listening to Neil Diamond on my Bluetooth speakers yesterday in the pool the phone didn't charge.
Also, the wireless charging seems to take a lot longer...
How about charging on buses, airports, planes etc. I don't want to cart around a wireless charger everywhere I go.
I know that it's hard to stick to principals in Thailand... but I want to keep this one.
So, a less humid climate... like back to Europe for example. The wife'd never follow me...
Hey, hang on...
^^ Seems a bit extravagant mate... just so I can pretend I can cook!
I will not be provoked by the Neil Diamond comment...
Fast wireless chargers (that your phone does support) will, errm, make charging faster. I hope you ordered a fast wireless charger, Mendip!
Samsung Fast Wireless Charger แท่นชาร์จไร้สาย ซัมซุง สีดำ มีประกัน Stand Pad Galaxy S7 S6 Edge+ NOTE 5 S7 Edge S8 S9 S10 Plus Iphone X XS XS Max

Yes! That was a result!
Very nice, that'll do the job perfectly...
those fast chargers will cause your 5g tower to spontaneously combust and the gardener will end up pregnant
though the bonus is it deletes the neil diamond songs on your phone
You are golden then. Just walk back in and say "Cough up a new one, this is faulty"
I have been reading Tech articles on the S20. Seems to have many software bugs and many related to the camera features which is its largest selling point. I'd hold off on a S20 until the next they have it all sorted out
^ I will take no advice from a fella who has not yet finished his small but significant garden feature... In fact, one wonders if said small but significant garden feature will ever be completed!
@ Mendip,
I have a wireless charger as does my wife. One issue that surfaced, if you use an aftermarket cover that is thicker then the factory one it might have random charging errors or not charge at all. I changed my cover to a Spigen and no problems since. My wife did not want to change covers so she is back to a cord. Her s10 was a bundle deal and the wireless charger came with it. She now has a 450,000 mile long cord to charge and can walk everywhere but does get irritated with the dogs when they step on it....
It had such potential... Who wears the trousers in that household? I would certainly revisit that project and include a selection of fish slides. Mendip could pop round with the gardener to take photos on his S30.
I'd be lost without Neil Diamond to listen to!
My phone cover is pretty thick, I wonder if that's causing a problem with the wireless charging.
I have a 2m long cord on my charger by the bed so I can watch Netflix while charging. I don't want to lose that.
But as usual... it's not as easy as that.
This is why I am so sick of having a Mac... I just tried to download the photos from my S10 to the Mac, but the Mac doesn't recognise the phone. A bit of Googling shows I need some app called 'Android File Transfer', so I look on the app store and it's not there. I try to download the closest one I can find, and then am told I need to go to the UK store, not the Thai store. I go to the UK store and it's all fancy wireless apps.
I'll wait until my daughter's online lessons have finished, then use her Windows pc to back up the pictures onto a USB drive, then transfer them from the drive to my Mac. I know it will be so simple in Windows.

Oh... and that damn moisture notification has disappeared again now.
I'll wait for it to come back before going to the Samsung Service Centre, but just know it'll disappear again when I get there.
Well. I think we all know the deal on that. Us men pretend to control with an iron fist to keep up the image but we all know a "Happy woman" is a more giving woman....In life its all about choosing the right battles to engage in...
Lets be honest here. After the gardener caught Mendip enjoying some private quality time with his one eyed friend, I am not sure I want to see both of them together at the same time.
