    27 inch monitors

    Monitors, LED Monitor Thailand, LCD Monitor Thailand, Computer Monitor Thailand, 27" Thailand - invadeIT

    was going to upgrade the gaming computer with a MSI GTX 1060 ARMOR 6G OCV1 for 10k from invadeit and I thought maybe a new monitor also

    should I go curved ? display port ? freesync/vsync ? 4k or 1080p ?

    I was thinking up to 15k for the monitor
    If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

    hmm 4k is still really tough on even the most modern hardware.. i.e. you need a really beastly PC to handle it.. can be done now with the new gen of graphics cards.. don't forget the other components need to be high-end for 4k as well..

    power supply, PCU, etc... mustn't have any weak links..

    curved 35" is very immersive.. go big, or go home mate...

    lucky you!... my rig is ancient tech now (sad)... still plays BF4 on ultra @45 fps... so good enough for me, for the time being... until we move to Japan - where I plan to buy the mother of all PC's... will be more powerful than a Nasa hydra-fusion, nuclear powered super-computer on steroids...

    Had a 27 inch FHD monitor bought from invadeit, the Benq one.

    About a month later I bought a 50 inch FHD TV and shoved the monitor out to the main mrs' computer.

    Will go for a 65inch UHD and whatever graphics card is needed for it in a year or so.

    Forget the 27 inch and go for a 50inch FHD TV. Cheap as chips nowadays. and a 5.1 surround system and sound card.

    I was waiting on the 1000 series video cards to come out

    will probably get a m2 drive next year - the evo 960's look to be well priced and very very fast

    I had a 27" monitor but then I upgraded to this 32" 1440p monitor;

    https://www.amazon.com/BenQ-32-Inch-.../dp/B00ITORMNM

    I would not go back. If I was upgrading today I would get one of these;

    BenQ XR3501 Black 35" 144 Hz 4ms (GTG), 21:9 Ultra Wide Curve 2560 x 1080 LED Backlight Gaming Professional Monitor, 2000:1, 3 Exclusive Game Modes-Newegg.com

    Its not 4k but it has a 144hz refresh rate. I never go cheap on monitors. The way I look at it is why buy a high powered video card and run it on a small monitor. Spend the extra coin for the biggest monitor you can get.

    Also display port is a must.
