    Netbook revival..Linux

Hi..have some Netbooks sitting around that people had given me..decided to revive them..were running windows..XP..W7 and W8..that just worked..
Went through various Linux Distro's..bit slow.
Found Leeenux Linux..cost $12.USD for the link to download..
After paying.got sent a link with download site..could download around 14 or so flavors
with different features and sizes, depending on needs and computer power..

Certainly a good way to restore aging computers back to life..

Leeenux Linux | The Best Operating System for Netbooks, eee PC

How to install? | Leeenux Linux

Easy to install...you can email the site owner for more help if needed...Youtube clip makes for good install..

Hi..I tried all the small distro's...only one came near the mark was Easy Peasy..
These Leeenux distro's are suited to these netbooks..didn't mind paying as somebody has gone to the trouble to do the work..based on Ubuntu/Lubuntu..as a last resort, not wanting to ditch the netbooks..hours of frustration..
Plus it was the only way to get Leeenux..

    Hi Harrybarracuda,
Yes , Puppy works, never tried DSL...I don't think its active anymore.
Was trying for a more permanent Distro, than Puppy, I know you can install it on your H/D..a lot of work though.
Dragonfly, these Netbooks do not have the power to run Ubuntu, tried with many O/S.in the end it was better for the Netbooks to have a smaller Distro..so the people I give them to can use..
    Thanks for your comments..$12 =3 netbooks=2 cups coffee..happy days
