Running out of memory , can anybody help please ?

Ok yes I allready know how thick I am and should have bought an ipad etc I,ve allready been told .

But.

My Galaxy pad has just about run out of internal storage space , now I have 58gig of available external storage available etc , is there anyway I can move anything over ? and if so how ?

Any help gratefully recieved , usuall childish comments not required thanks all the same

dial *#9900# on the tablet and select option 2 “Delete dumpstate/logcat” in the prompted menu.

Movies and pictures usually do that. Copy some to your external space then delete them from the galaxy ipad gallery

i dont really understand what you want to do ?

Either drag all your stuff on your internal memory onto your Mac

or

drag it onto your SD card.
Astro File Manager

Using such an app you can browse through the file structure of your handset, find the file or folder you wish to move, copy it, paste it into the new location on your SD card, and delete the original.

You could delete some of the stuff you no longer need on the tablet, get another micro SDcard to install, or get a bigger SD card.

I'm guessing though if you've got 58GB of stuff on your tablet, there's probably about 56GB of junk to either transfer to a computer/cloud storage/backup disk drive or delete.

Start by finding out what is taking up all the space.

e.g. are you saving all pictures and videos on internal storage by any chance?

Have you got Cleanmaster? All computers fill up with junk files and scripts.
Use it regularly to optimise your storage space.

your internal storage is full and you want to move some files to the sd card to free up space ?

Maybe you can Copy some of the bigger files and Paste them to the sd card .
eg
settings
storage
choose say pictures videos -press and hold to select

Navigate to a folder in the sd card , make a new one if need be , and be hit the little paste button - looks like a clipboard at least on my tablet .
Then when you sure its been moved go back to the internal memory file and delete the original.



To free up a little space if its jammed full
settings -storage- cached data-
and select ok clear cached data
