    Buying electronics on line

Ive just returned to Thailand , and looking to buy an electronic games console from an on line seller , the amount I am spending is around 8,000Baht . I was wondering what the chances of being done for some sort of tax on the parcel when it reaches Thailand . The seller has told me they can put a lower amount on the paperwork and call the thing by another name like gift or electrical parts if I want , has any one bought some thing on line and had it posted to Thailand and what would be the best amount / description to ask the seller to print on the parcel to try to avoid being taken for a ride by the Thai customs , the parcel would be coming to Thailand via airmail from Hong Kong , any advice please .

Tax is liable when the value exceeds 1000 baht.
I think gifts are exempt but not sure.
