Your hands will need protection. You will sweat a lot and the grips may hurt your hands. A good pair of gloves will pad your palm and ensure you always have a firm grip.Originally Posted by MeMock

Shorts are essential if you are going to cycle more than 10k. Your rearend will get very sore without them. I wear an old pair of combat shorts over mine as I don't like to show off my crown jewels.
Some of you may be not aware of the fact that Wayne Kerr was one of Australia's top road and track cyclists and he appreciates the best in bikes (mechanical and female I might add). This bike is not for the hacker who wants something to ride around the park on sundays. If you want one of those go to Kmart or Carrefour and you will be well happy. This bike is for the adventureman and is top quality stuff. If he sells it cheap without giving his old mate a chance to bid I will be very well pissed. Not that I am able to take this bike to it's full potential, but it would be nice to fantasise about when pissed.
Remember, only rich people can afford to buy crap.
Thanks Johnny, i couldn't have said it better.
I know Mr Kerr and I simply don't believe it.Originally Posted by Johnny Longprong

Actually, can you get kids seats for this bike, need one at rear and one at front...2 kids.
I could take them to school upcountry when we move and I could get some exercise. There is one big hill in the way though between me and them.
It is your choice then precious. Try a 60km ride with gloves and then try one without. I think you will find that riding is much more comfortable with them.Originally Posted by Nawty
No mudguards.
Guess it is OK if you want a wet stipe up your back.
^Yes. Buy mudguards, it is very annoying to have dirty water spraying up in your face when going down a road at high speed (40-50kmph+ on bike)
this is obviously a high quality bike with front and rear disc brakes
Do you still have the bike? I'm especially interested in the trainer as well.
Also, have a Yamaha Nouvo, automatic, like new, if you're into a trade.
Thanks
Sorry mate, I've given up selling stuff.
Ended up bringing the bike with me on my current sojourn
Probike in BKK is a bit pricey but has a good selection of trainers/rollers and I know can deliver up country.
Thought it was on a boat to Oz ?
T'was cobber, arrived a few weeks after me and is sitting in my mate Johnnylongprong's place in sunny Port Stephen's Aus. Johnny will take care of her whilst I go swanning around the Pacific for a few years ... ahh the life
